Statewide CHIC Partnership
The Statewide CHIC Partnership is providing governance for the CHIC initiative. The lead agencies of this partnership include key stakeholders in primary health care from Queensland Health, General Practice Queensland, Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Health Council and the Combined Health Agencies Group- a multi-agency group representing Blue Care, Spiritus, Queensland Health Community Health, RSL Care and Ozcare.
The role and responsibility of this multi-stakeholder partnership is to provide high level advice, guidance and leadership at a statewide level, including:
- Policy, organisational, funding and evaluation principles and priorities;
- Identifying and addressing system enablers, barriers and issues impacting on the implementation of effective Partnership Councils;
- Providing information and support on innovative service delivery and partnering; and
- Encouraging and facilitating opportunities for the sharing of information and progress, between Partnerships Councils throughout the state.
